Miss Tara
Erika Hogan- Owner/Artistic Director has over 22 years of dance experience and over 11 years of teaching experience. Erika received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Performance, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fitness/Wellness, and a Master of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Winthrop University where she instructs courses in Pilates and Cardio Dance. Erika competed with the Rising Stars Dance Company in Sumter, SC. As a member of the Rising Stars team she won numerous overall awards and national titles. Erika was inducted into the Dance Hall of Fame and was selected to be a Youth Dance Ambassador. Erika has performed with the Royal Caribbean Cruiselines, the nationally televised Southern Sports Awards, the Nickelodeon Celebration Parade at Carowinds, the Dance Theatre of Sumter, Columbia City Ballet, the Winthrop University Dance Team, and the Winthrop Dance Theatre. Erika's choreography consistently receives high score and choreography awards.Erika's latest choreography can been seen at Carowinds in the shows "Peanuts Rockin Party" and "Charlie Brown's Hoedown."
Tara Carpenter- has over 20 years of dance experience both as a performer and choreographer. Tara has trained extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, musical theater, hip hop, clogging, and gymnastics with top choreographers and instructors. Tara and her students have received numerous overall and performance awards. Tara also organized and choreographed a dance showcase that raised money to restore dance studios in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Tara is looking forward to growing with New Attitude, and can not wait for the season to start .
Miss Jasmine
Miss Kimberly
Jasmine Tate- has over 18 years of dance experience and training. Jasmine is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Education from Winthrop University, where she is a member of the dance team. Jasmine has trained in all forms of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, and hip hop. Jasmine has traveled the country taking classes from several choreographers and brings these experiences to the students at New Attitude. Jasmine has won numerous awards and national titles for her solo performances and for her choreography. Jasmine works with students of all ages and is a wonderful addition to the NAPAC staff
Kimberly Cook – has over 20 years of dance experience as both a dancer and instructor. Kimberly has trained in tap, jazz and lyrical with an emphasis in classical ballet. She has performed in several full length ballets and was a soloist in the York County Ballet Company’s 2000 European Tour. She has performed in theatrical productions and was a performer and Dance Captain in Carowind’s 2001 show “Wide Open Country”. Kimberly has trained with the Governor’s School of the Arts and served as a company member and instructor with the Robert Ivey Ballet in Charleston, South Carolina. While in Charleston she was a member of the College of Charleston Dance team and choreographed for schools in the Charleston area. Kimberly is excited to join New Attitude and can’t wait to get started.
